We were talking about Martin’s involvement in the community.

“. . . and my thought process there is . . . Live the Dash.”

“God tells us he knew our name in the womb, and I believe that he does – or in my case, he did.  And, God’s the only person who knows when we’re going to leave planet Earth.  Somewhere in between there, there’s a little dash – so live the dash.  I’m a Live the Dash guy.”

“It doesn’t matter where exactly – where we live that dash – but, wherever you’re living that dash . . . get involved.  Make a difference.”

“We live in the greatest country the world has ever known.  America is the greatest idea the world has ever known.  What a blessing to be born here in the States and have the things that we have.”​
