“We have a lot of opportunities.  We have beautiful parks.  We have beautiful outdoor recreation opportunities.  Let’s take the lake for example.”

“What the city council did last year for the lake has been a huge deal.  We expanded the beach this year, and we added some other amenities . . . and there are other thoughts for future expansion there.”

“I think we have a lot of opportunity with outdoor recreation.  Last weekend was the rock crawling competition here.  That brings in a lot of people, and they stay in hotels, and they eat in our restaurants, and they shop here . . . and they see the beauty of this.”

“Pinon Hills Golf Course . . . a great golf course here . . . that is still one of the top golf courses in the country.  We’ve got all sorts of things right here in Farmington.”​
