What would possess a smart, beautiful, successful business owner to pack up and move 6,000 miles away from her home?  Love, of course!

Olena Erickson was a single mom with a full-time nanny to care for her two kids – because she was also the successful business owner of two busy restaurants.  She was doing great financially and enjoyed her life in Ukraine – except she was too busy to date.  She hoped to find somebody close to home so she could maintain her business.  What she found was a man who lives in Farmington – which was WAY too far away for her liking.

Love won her over – and now she’s been a jewel in our community for over 10 years now.

Of course, moving from Ukraine to Farmington was a HUGE culture shock.  She had to learn the language and re-earn her high school diploma – which she did in a few short months.  She went on to get her Master’s degree to replace her Ukrainian degrees, became a CPA, and is now the Controller for San Juan Regional Medical Center.

She fell in love with the people in our little community – and you’re gonna love her.  Besides being smart, beautiful, and successful – she also has a great sense of humor.

Olena made me laugh within the first few minutes of talking with her – and I’m sure this drive will be filled with laughter!​
