Donnie Pigford on Ken’s Think Tank Season 3, Episode 17

In the fall of 2019, Donnie and I were discussing the pending construction of a botanical gardens feature at the Farmington Museum at Gateway Park in Farmington, NM.  The prospect of what that could do for Farmington is very exciting.  Because of it’s location, this would be in the center of the city – at the visitors center – at the museum – with direct exposure to the river – at the site of the farmer’s market – and would lend itself to festivals like an apple festival and green chili festival that tie right into who we are – and could attract and keep visitors to check out other things we offer in Farmington.  Everybody wins!

Of course, 2020 messed that up, but I look forward to renewed efforts to make it a reality.​
